Bust of Shostakovich: A Golden Anniversary

Inkermezzo was commissioned to draw the cover portrait of Dmitri Shostakovich for the July 2025 No. 63 edition of the DSCH Journal. This edition and cover commemorates the 50th anniversary of the composer's death in 1975.

 

The cover was drawn with white ink on 22k gold.
